I’m always a bit sad after National Declutter Day, and this year is no exception. I usually start the organisation in mid-late July, so it feels like I’ve much more free time on my hands when it’s over!

I want to say a massive Thank You to everyone around Ireland (and indeed further afield!) that took the time to declutter around the event, and I’ve no doubt that you will continue to enjoy the many benefits of decluttering in the different areas of your lives. I also want to give my sincere thanks to all the official 2014 charity and environmental partners for supporting the event and giving people around Ireland many meaningful and convenient ways to distribute their unwanted items – Enable Ireland, Oxfam Ireland, Irish Cancer Society, Gorta-Self Help Africa, DEBRA Ireland, Southern Region Waste Management Office (SRWMO), Freetrade Ireland and SMILE Resource Exchange.
