Wow! I have a pile of cd’s and books gathering dust . I declutter clothes maybe it’s time to get stuck into the other clutter. Thanks Breda
Hi Tracy, thanks for your comment. Lots of us think that clutter relates to clothing only, but of course it’s any thing at all that isn’t serving us or making us feel good. Good luck with it!
I’m here laughing to myself, only a few weeks ago I did a clear out and found a teddy bear I got about 20 something years ago…I put it in the laundry basket to give it wash before taking it to the charity shop…guess where it is now…still in the laundry basket!! That’s it I’m going to wash it asap and send it off to it’s new home, thanks for the motivation Breda I needed a push in the right direction xxx
Ah good for you Deborah, I hope your almost-vintage teddy gets a good home! Thank you for your comments!
I saw a good tip for using material from clothes that we have been keeping for the memories they hold – use them to make a patchwork quilt or throw or even an apron, something that will be used and seen so that the memories are always visible and also useful in your home.
Hi Nora, that’s a really great way to keep the memory, and the apron or quilt are also very useful. I’ve seen people upcycle fabric from sentimental items to teddies and all sorts of home furnishings. Thanks for sharing your lovely tip!
